So the paper I’m writing is about Labyrinth. The labyrinth is a metaphor for growing up, the castle at the center of the labyrinth is adulthood, and “You have no power over me” is a kid asserting her independence to her parents. But that leaves me wondering:
What’s the Bog of Eternal Stench?
Is it the adolescent fear of being an outcast?
Or does it represent teenagers...
How To Write a Paper
Receive assignment
Spend two months doing nothing
Wait until the night before it’s due to start writing
Write the paper
Decide to change thesis and scrap entire paper
Go on Tumblr to tell everyone how to write a paper instead of actually writing paper
Go back to writing the greatest paper ever seen by human eyes
Receive A+ and be adored by all

Lately, though, this has been how I have felt here, too.
That’s no bueno. I’ve been getting annoyed with Tumblr lately too, which scares me a bit. Tumblr is supposed to be a safe haven. The Cheers to my Norm. I don’t have a backup plan for when, God forbid, Tumblr becomes unbearable....

Whenever someone makes a vague passive-aggressive post about how they don’t like someone, regardless of how I know the post-maker (stranger, acquaintance, relative, close friend), I start mentally reviewing our history together to figure out what I did to piss them off.

I like that them being related to you is the third worst.
They weren’t in any particular order! Goodness, I may live in the south(ish) but give me some credit!
I think I need to look outside of Oklahoma to find a decent guy. All the guys here either have garlic in their soul, care more about the head mounted on their wall than the one on their shoulders, or are related to me.
